By accessing or using the RightPaw platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and any other policies referenced on the platform.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.

RightPaw provides an online platform that connects prospective pet owners with breeders.

RightPaw does not:

• Breed animals
• Sell animals
• Take ownership of animals
• Handle deposits or payments
• Act as an agent for buyers or breeders
• Facilitate ownership transfers

All transactions and agreements are entered into directly between breeders and prospective pet owners.

Breeders who apply to join RightPaw may undergo a review process that can include the assessment of:

• Profile information
• Registration details
• Health testing information
• Veterinary records
• Supporting documentation
• Breeding practices

Breeders participating on RightPaw agree to the RightPaw Code of Ethics.

Participation on RightPaw should not be interpreted as accreditation, certification, endorsement, or a guarantee of future conduct, legal compliance, breeding outcomes, or animal health.

Prospective pet owners are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information when submitting enquiries.
• Conducting their own due diligence before acquiring a pet.
• Reviewing breeder information carefully.
• Asking questions relevant to their decision.
• Assessing whether a pet is suitable for their lifestyle and circumstances.

Breeders are responsible for:

• Ensuring information provided on the platform is accurate and up to date.
• Complying with applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintaining appropriate standards of animal welfare.
• Conducting transactions directly with prospective pet owners.
• Complying with the RightPaw Code of Ethics.

Breeders may only use buyer information for the purpose of responding to enquiries received through the platform.

The sale, sharing, transfer, or unrelated marketing use of buyer information is prohibited.

By submitting an enquiry through RightPaw, users consent to their information being processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

Where applicable, information may be shared with:

• Relevant breeders
• dotsure.co.za
• Service providers assisting with the operation of the platform

for purposes described in the Privacy Policy.

RightPaw does not guarantee:

• Animal health
• Animal temperament
• Breeding outcomes
• Future breeder conduct
• Legal compliance by breeders
• Availability of animals
• Suitability of animals for individual buyers

Information made available through the platform is provided for informational purposes only.

All discussions, agreements, deposits, payments, refunds, warranties, guarantees, and transactions occur directly between breeders and prospective pet owners.

RightPaw is not a party to these arrangements and accepts no responsibility for disputes arising from them.

RightPaw reserves the right to:

• Request additional information from breeders.
• Conduct additional reviews.
• Suspend or remove listings.
• Restrict access to the platform.
• Remove breeder profiles.

These actions may be taken where participation appears inconsistent with:

• Platform policies
• The RightPaw Code of Ethics
• Animal welfare considerations
• Applicable laws

All content, branding, logos, designs, text, and platform materials remain the property of RightPaw or its licensors unless otherwise stated.

Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit platform content without prior written consent.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RightPaw shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from:

• Use of the platform
• Breeder conduct
• Animal health issues
• Transactions between buyers and breeders
• Reliance on information provided through the platform

Users access and use the platform at their own risk.

RightPaw may update these Terms of Use from time to time.

Updated versions will be published on the platform and become effective upon publication.

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any disputes arising from the use of the platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
